Since the beginning of Marvel Studios campaign for “Marvel’s The Avengers”, Facebook fans have been very excited and supportive. Marvel Studios are showing their appreciation by announcing advanced screenings of the movie weeks before May 4th. The screenings will be on a first-come-first-served basis in cities all over the world and in the U.S, fans will get to see the film in IMAX 3D. The unprecedented event will start on April 14th at 10 am PDT with these top 5 cities: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston and Miami then they will start with the next 5 cities.
Heres how it works- The event will allow cities with the most “Marvel’s The Avengers” Facebook fans to see the movie before May 4th, the original release date. If you want to get your city in on the bid or keep up with the details and announcements, go to www.facebook.com/avengers. And if that wasn’t awesome enough for you, fans are being encouraged to participate in a Best Super Hero costume contest. Fans who go to their local screening dressed in a costume based on “Marvel’s Avengers” will receive an award of reserved seats.
As someone who is a huge fan of the “Marvel’s Avengers” and has been looking forward to the movie since it was first announced, I would have no problem whipping out my Thor costume and checking out an advanced screening of what will undoubtedly be an epic movie event. Plus I just love wearing my Thor costume.
