Marvel’s The Avengers Clips

M's A

‘Summer blockbuster’, ‘epic movie event’, ‘most anticipated movie of the summer’, whichever phrase enters your mind when you think of Marvel’s The Avengers movie opening May 4th, it is most definitely a movie I cannot wait to see. Though May is almost upon us, it still seems like it’s just too far away. So what can we do? Well, my friends, I have a couple new clips to share with you. The hope is to give you a lil’ something-something to help you make it to May 4th. But if you are like me, when you are craving pizza and someone hands you a pepperoni, you might just end up taking out a wall due to the anticipation.

The first clip is a very intense battle of wits between an imprisoned Loki played by Tom Hiddleston and Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson. The scene takes place inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier which gives a great look at the environment. Naturally the clip makes you wonder what lead up to that point as well as what happens from there. But if you just want a little taste of the awesome, I assure you, you will not be disappointed.

This next clip is of an awesome “Face off” between Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. and Thor played by Chris Hemsworth. With all of the power and ability possessed by the members of Marvel’s Avengers individually, it’s no surprise that some friction might arise. Again, from this clip, you don’t know what events lead up to the confrontation or how it ends, but just for the sake of awesome, I would be remissed if I didn’t share it with you. I also think its nice to point out Thor’s obvious misunderstanding of Iron-Man’s suit which most definitely leaves room for The Avenger’s to grow as a team amidst the threat to Earth.

I say it all of the time, and I will probably keep saying it until I’m actually half-way through the movie, “I cannot wait until this movie is released!!!” The potential of action, humor, heart, and fun that comes with the child-like imagination of comic hero movies will definitely not be missed on Marvel’s Avengers. The movie, which opens May 4th, stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill and Stellan Skarsg.
