Telltale’s new The Walking Dead game trailer

The trailer for the new Telltale’s The Walking Dead new episodic video game is here!!! Geared towards the art of Charlie Adlard, the trailer gives a look at gameplay and character design. Though the game is based on the comic rather than the hit television series, there are some similarities of the group in the game to that of the tv series and its noted that Glenn from the series makes an appearance in the first episode of the game which acknowledges both universes.

In an interview with story consultant Gary Whitta, he stated “What we’re doing with the game version is completely fresh- the same universe, the same time and place, y’know, it’s in and around Atlanta at the time of the zombie apocalypse, but there’s no Rick Grimes, none of the major characters are in the game in a major way,” Gary wanted to make sure that the distinction was made between the television show and the game and stress that the the game is based on the the comic.
